Terms of service
Last updated 10 September 2026. Operator: ElevateOS Education Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17329548. Contact: [email protected].
1. Who may use this service
People aged 18 or over who hold an offer from, or are currently registered at, one of the universities we serve, and who complete verification. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or sold.
2. We are independent
This service is not provided by, endorsed by or affiliated with the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, any of their colleges, or any students' union. Society entries are maintained by students, not by any university.
3. Academic integrity
Reading lists, planners and the assistant exist to help you organise your own reading. You may not use this service to obtain work to submit as your own, to write or complete assessed work for another person, or to advertise such a service. Doing so is a disciplinary offence at both universities, and providing or arranging such a service for money is a criminal offence under section 11 of the Skills and Post-16 Education Act 2022. Accounts that do it are removed and, where the law requires, reported.
4. Behaviour
No harassment, no threats, no sexual content involving anyone under 18, no impersonation, no forged verification evidence, no scraping, no bulk messaging, no advertising without our written permission. Report anything that breaks this using the report control on the content itself.
5. What you post
You keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to display it inside the service to other members. We can hide or remove content that breaks these terms, and we keep a record of moderation decisions.
6. Payments
Paid features, where they exist, are described at the point of purchase. Purchases made inside the iOS or Android app are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms. Where the law gives you a right to cancel a distance contract, that right applies and is described at checkout.
7. Suspension and deletion
We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms. You can delete your account inside the app at any time.
8. Liability
We provide the service as it is. We do not guarantee that another member is who they say they are beyond the verification we describe, and we are not a party to any arrangement you make with another member, including housing, sales, tutoring and meeting in person.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
